My name is Tone Cecilie Hetland and I am the editor of the BragePost. I am from Norway, but have spent nearly ten years in Asia over the past fifteen years, living in China, South Korea, briefly Pakistan and currently Japan.
I have long been fascinated by the similarities in East Asian and Nordic design. Despite cultural differences and geographical distance, the use of colours and materials share parallels and trends appear to be somewhat in sync. This website is the result of my reflections on design and visual inspirations from life in Eastern Asia and Northern Europe.
